Hello,
My name is David Duffy, I am here to minimise your tax, save you time and hassle and improve your bottom line.
I have been a Charted Management Accountant (CIMA, AICPA) for 11 years, I hold an honours degree from a top rated UK University in Accountancy & Corporate Finance.
I previously worked in Finance departments in all aspects of finance, risk and accounting for large blue chip international companies for 15 years (including Wal*Mart, Heineken, Tesco, DS Smith, Royal Bank of Scotland Group and Lloyds Banking Group).
Notably, I worked in RBS Group Chief Accountant’s for 4 years doing most aspects of financial reporting; was Group Solvency Accountant for Scottish Widows Insurance & Investment Group, responsible for calculating their consolidated accounts; and Senior Manager in Group Finance for Lloyds Banking Group – responsible for Capital Planning and Liquidity Management.
Also, I run my own limited companies in the UK for the past 10 years, personally doing all Personal Tax returns, VAT returns, PAYE returns, Corporation Tax, P&L Account submissions, Balance Sheet submissions, and dealt successfully with UK HMRC on a number of occasions.
In addition, I calculated Profit & Loss Accounts and Balance Sheets for many of my friend’s Limited companies. I am still the ‘go to’ person among friends to get accounting advice on how to set up and register UK companies, VAT schemes, what they can expense, and how to complete VAT and tax returns in the most efficient way to achieve paying the lowest tax legally possible.
This has resulted in me being an all round subject matter expert in UK Accounting and taxes for all types of companies and sole traders, large and small.
During this time I have learnt all the optimised methods of running a limited company and setting in place legal mechanisms for tax avoidance for UK companies and UK residents.
In addition to this, I have extensive knowledge of European residency and international tax implications – due to living abroad for the best part of the last 6 years in Europe, SE Asia, Australia and Canada. I am also familiar with Company eResidency in Estonia setup, processes and tax implications.
As I continue to do my own complex personal tax returns (AirBnB, Property rental portfolio, salary, dividends, benefits in kind, stocks & shares trading accounts) and company accounts for my UK financial consultancy company, as well as assist multiple friends in their personal and company tax returns and accounts, I have decided to set up an Accounting & Financial Consulting Service for ‘Digital Nomads’ and remote freelancers who are UK residents; US Amazon Sellers who are looking to enter the UK market; and UK Amazon sellers who are looking to set up or are already set up in the USA.
We also have a range of accounting & finance services for our USA clients, European clients and Australasian clients.
At present, I am partnered with a top international Amazon FBA seller from NYC; who is extremely knowledgeable about setting up International Amazon businesses and optimising finance, taxes and logistics in each jurisdiction. As well as calculating his own personal US tax returns and tax implications as a remote Amazon seller – so we have a competitive advantage in this area and know exactly what Amazon sellers and remote workers require.
Please get in touch if you are looking to save money, remove the stress and anxiety of doing your accounting and improve your lifestyle by expensing more and increasing profits.
